Getting the right link
Tap Share under the video, then Copy link. Reels and normal videos both work.
Before you start
Posts must be set to Public. Friends-only posts can't receive anything from outside your friend list. For a personal profile, turn on Followers in your settings.
Why views help
Facebook shows view counts on reels and videos up front, and people scroll past the ones that look empty. A head start on views helps a new upload look like it's worth a tap.
